Atinuke Taiwo is an Executive Director and General Counsel at Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited, serving as a member of the Executive Management and Board of Directors.

She has over 32 years of work experience and extensive expertise at Board and Executive Management levels. Atinuke has dealt extensively in corporate law, securities law, power sector reform and operations, corporate/project/infrastructure financing, compliance and corporate governance, mergers and acquisition, regulatory and stakeholder management, audit, business risk and corporate communications.

Prior to joining MESL, Atinuke worked at various companies including Bear Stearns Asset Management (USA), JPMorgan (USA), GE Commercial (USA) and FMDQ Securities Exchange (Nigeria). She presently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Quest Electricity Nigeria Limited, the owner and operator of Yola Electricity Distribution Company PLC, which serves four (4) states in the Northeastern region of Nigeria.

She holds a Master of Law degree from Northwestern University (Chicago) and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and International Bar Association. She has attended several executive programmes at numerous institutions including Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, London School of Economics and Euromoney Learning Solutions.
