Petr joined the International Hydropower Association as  Research and Policy Intern in June 2023. With an MPhil in Water Science, Policy, and Management from the University of Oxford, he brings a strong background in conducting complex analysis of climate change adaptation and resilience of the hydropower industry. He is at the forefront of galvanising capacity development and supporting economic efficiency projects.

Petr has a solid record of formulating policy recommendations and delivering science-based solutions for water management. He previously interned at the Global Water Partnership Organisation, where he supported tracking global progress in achieving SDG 6.5 and gender mainstreaming in the water sector.
