Book nowChristopher Vehe Sagapoa, PhD is currently the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in the Solomon Islands Government. He attained a PhD at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, holds a Master of Science (MSc) (geology) degree from Kagoshima University, Kagoshima, Japan and a Bachelor's of Science (BSc) (geology) degree from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), Waigani, Papua New Guinea.
Christopher started his professional career in 2003-2005 as an exploration geologist in the Solomon Islands where he had been actively involved in numerous geosciences projects. Now he administers the Geoscience Ministry as a chief executive officer, overseeing energy, water resources, geological survey, petroleum and mines division within the government.
