Kamia Handayani is a distinguished energy and climate expert with a Ph.D. from the University of Twente. She has been affiliated with the university as a visiting researcher since January 2020. Notably, she was recognised as a research fellow at 4TU Resilience Engineering in June 2020, a distinction highlighting her substantial contributions to the field.

Currently, Kamia serves as the Executive Vice President of the Energy Transition and Sustainability (DIVTEK) at Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN). Her role involves directing DIVTEK's operations to expedite PLN's shift to renewable energy resources and sustainable practices.
