Book nowEngr. Lamu Audu started his career with the Borno State Ministry of Works and Housing (MoW&H) in 1979 and later joined the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) as Manager (Mechanical) in April 1996.
He attended many professional courses and training workshops and supervised the Pupilage programme at Shiroro Hydro Power Station and Lagos Thermal Power Station, Egbin and the Management Development Training programme by Accenture.
Engr. Lamu was elevated to the position of Principal Manager in August 2008, a position he held for a period of just a little over one year before he was transferred to Jebba Hydro Electric PLC to take on the position of Assistant General Manager (Maintenance) in October 2009. In August 2011, Engr. Lamu was appointed MD/CEO of Jebba Hydro Electric PLC, a position he held until the completion of the Nigerian Electricity supply industry (NESI) privatisation.
In 2013, the Board of Directors of Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited (MESL), the concessionaires of Kainji and Jebba Hydro Power Plants (HPPs) appointed him as the MD and CEO in October 2013 until the present.
