During her 11 years with Voith Group, Kathrin Göbel has been in charge of various communication disciplines such as trade press activities, online as well as strategic communication or events. Since January 2021, she has headed a team of international experts promoting hydropower all around the globe.

Kathrin Göbel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and completed her Master of Science in Innovation & Business Transformation in 2019. Today, she also serves as a Business Mentor at Steinbeis School of International Business and Entrepreneurship, supporting young communicators in their professional development.

Apart from her activities in the Communications & Advocacy Taskforce of IHA, she is also part of the Communications Committee in the European Association for Storage of Energy and the Long Duration Energy Storage Council’s Communications Working Group.
