Mr. Arief Ariyana is a Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Corporate Banking Group at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. He is responsible for leading process and business transformation in corporate banking at Bank Mandiri, one of Indonesia's largest financial conglomeration with current total assets of $130 billion and serving as the top market player in the green market, including financing to renewable energies. Other than his role as a SEVP Corporate Banking, he also acts as Commissioner of Mandiri Sekuritas. He has 32 years of experience in the banking sector, including the positions of General Manager and Country Head of Bank Mandiri in Singapore (2018-2020), Managing Director of CIMB Bank Berhad in Singapore (2014-2018), Director of The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) (2009-2014), Chief Risk Officer at PT Bank BNP Paribas Indonesia (2008-2009), Director of Corporate Banking at PT Bank BNP Paribas Indonesia (2004-2008), Vice President at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (2000-2004), Vice President at the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) (1999-2000) and Vice President at Bank of America (1995-1998). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh New York, USA.
