Kavin Kumar Kandasamy is a social entrepreneur with interests from education to climate. Hailing from a small town in India, he has graduated in management, marketing and global business from the finest institutes in India, Australia, and France.

His global background has led him to build scalable solutions that cater to the fundamental needs of humanity. His first stint in business saw him grow his organisations from 84 employees to over 1200 strong in a span of seven years and spread its footprint from education to asset management.

Since 2020, Kavin’s attention has shifted to solving the global climate crisis by viewing climate as an opportunity and driving it as a profitable proposition that creates sustenance through positive impact and sustainable economics. In this endeavor he now leads ProClime, a unified climate action service provider that focuses on carbon projects, carbon trade and climate investments. Over the last few years ProClime has successfully partnered with various state governments across India and the Government of Sri Lanka to create a positive roadmap that focuses on climate projects which cater to climate needs and societal impact of the region.
