Mr Leonardo Pérez Álvarez is a mechanical engineer and certified professional in “Sustainable Hydropower” by Technikum Wien and ESHA (2013). He has 15 years of experience in the hydropower field, from consultancy services to business development management. Currently, Leonardo leads the ENERGO PRO group expansion in Colombia, working on a 700 MW project pipeline to be developed in the upcoming 10 years. He is also an active member of the Colombia Small Hydro Power Association (CEERA) and is deputy president and founder of the BoD. Leonardo is extremely passionate about hydropower, motivating him to speak at the 2023 World Hydropower Congress.
