Book nowJanice Cheong is the Policy and Project Manager of the Global Wind Energy Council where she actively engages with key public and private stakeholders to advocate and cultivate a conducive policy environment for the wind industry across the Asia Pacific region. She formulates route-to-market strategies for offshore wind in emerging markets such as Vietnam, the Philippines and South Korea.
Janice has over eight years of experience across academia and the private sector in the political sciences, political risk consulting as well as security and intelligence operations. She has worked across a start up and was most recently tenured in a multinational technology organisation supporting the mitigation of key risk areas including politics, elections integrity and energy security. She is a graduate of Kings College London with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and University College London with a Masters of Science in Security Studies.
With a unique cross-industry perspective, Janice is empowered to utilise this platform to spread awareness on the role that wind energy plays in global energy transition.
