Kelly Rogers is manager of policy and communications at the National Hydropower Association (NHA), the official trade association for the U.S. waterpower industry. Kelly has been with NHA for almost four years, advocating for innovative waterpower technologies and the existing hydropower fleet, as well as leading initiatives related to marine energy technologies, small hydropower projects and workforce development. Kelly has also led NHA communications campaigns such as National Hydropower Day and NHA’s digital ad campaign geared toward millennials, which raises the visibility of waterpower’s important role in Americans' everyday lives. Kelly is coming to the 2023 World Hydropower Congress to bring the U.S. waterpower industry perspective to an international audience and share the exciting opportunities developing within America’s first renewable energy.
